Programs Connecting Seniors and Youth

How is it that as our youth struggle with education, peer pressures and direction in life that no one has called upon our most experienced citizens to intervene? And how is it that as childhood obesity statistics continue to alarm parents and doctors…at the very same time elderly men and women are forced to risk their lives by shoveling snow from their driveways?

Never forget this: The future wellbeing of our youth and seniors are inextricably linked.

Older Americans are proving that the mind doesn't age at the same rate as the body. Yet when neither is counted upon for contribution both deteriorate. We need leadership to build a bridge between our young people and our seniors.
